Bucks County Deli Employee Arrested After Trying To Sell Drugs To Police Officer
FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. (CBS) – A Fairless Hills deli employee has been arrested after allegedly trying to sell drugs to a police officer in civilian clothing.
In late December 2012, Lansdale Police received information that an employee from Lansdale Meats & Deli in Hatfield named "Leon" was involved in selling marijuana. An investigation identified Leon Nazian, of the 300 block of Chelsea Road in Fairless Hills, as the suspect.
On Jan. 9, Jan. 25 and Feb. 22; Nazian sold approximately one ounce of marijuana to a plain clothed officer in the parking lot of Mater Dei after hours. After making the last sale, Nazian was stopped and taken into custody.
Nazian's vehicle was also seized, along with $3,400 in cash.
Nazian is charged with Criminal Use of Communication Facility, Possession of A Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia and Receipt in Commerce.
