Bruce Springsteen Heads Back To Philly Later This Month For Book Signing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It seems Bruce Springsteen can't stay away from The City of Brotherly Love for very long. After playing two shows at Citizens Bank Park, setting the record for his longest concert in the United States, The Boss heads back to Philadelphia for a book signing.
The rocker will be stopping at the Free Library of Philadelphia at Logan Square on Thursday, Sept. 29 from noon to 2 p.m. on his book tour for his new autobiography "Born to Run."
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. and will be available at http://libraryphila.tix.com/.
According to event guidelines, ticket-with book must be purchased online through the library and only one pre-signed book per person is allowed. On the day of the event, the line to enter will form on Vine Street starting at 10 a.m. People are encouraged to leave bags at home.
Last month, the New Jersey native shared the foreword for "Born to Run" on his website, hinting that it will focus on his early origins and the defining moments in his music career.
The book will officially be released on September 27.
