PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A community came together Wednesday night to help victims of a fire that ravaged a Philadelphia restaurant that stood for nearly 40 years.
The fire in late October at Bridget Foy's restaurant on South Street destroyed the building, injured three fire fighters, and killed two dogs at the adjoining business, Doggy Style.

On Wednesday night, dining establishments from across the city joined forces to help those affected.
"The restaurant community as a whole in Philadelphia is a real tight-knit group," said George Reilly, who owns neighboring restaurant, The Twisted Tail.
Reilly organized the community dinner at the Shamble at Headhouse Square, where people could come and taste a variety of food and drinks.
"It's definitely a night of sorrow, because Bridget Foy's is no longer," Reilly said. "However, it's a night of celebration and comradery for the industry, and hopefully this will be good energy to get Bridget Foy's back on its feet and open as soon as it can."
