Bricks Fall From Center City High-Rise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There were no reports of any injuries after several bricks fell from a high-rise in Center City early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Locust Street.
Officials with the Philadelphia Fire Department confirmed that several bricks fell from a six-story building. As a result, the sidewalk near where the bricks fell was blocked off.
Representatives from the city's Licenses and Inspections Department were at the scene Wednesday morning investigating the situation.
Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
