Police Arrest Brian Joseph Carey, Person Of Interest In Stepfather's Killing, On Unrelated Drug Charges

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Police have arrested the man who is a person of interest in his elderly stepfather's killing in Bristol Township. Authorities said Brian Joseph Carey, 41, was arrested in Trumbauersville Borough by state troopers on possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bristol Township Police Searching For Person Of Interest, Brian Joseph Carey, In Homicide Of Stepfather

Authorities said Carey is a person of interest in the death of this 78-year-old stepfather, Joseph Michael Jakimowicz, who died Tuesday night at a home on Winder Drive.

Investigators put out an alert to find Carey, who they believed was driving the victim's SUV.  That car was found yesterday in Philadelphia.

Authorities have not said how Jakimowicz died. The investigation is ongoing.
