Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Pa. Turnpike
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., (CBS) – Chopper 3 over the scene after authorities say a pedestrian was struck and killed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
It was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 339 in Fort Washington, Montgomery County.
Two lanes were shutdown as Pennsylvania State Police investigated the incident.
The driver of the car that hit the pedestrian stopped and was questioned by police.
