UPDATE: 1 Dead, 4 Injured Following Crash On I-95 In Bensalem
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A woman is dead and four others are injured after an accident on I-95 South on Friday morning.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. at I-95 southbound just past Woodhaven Road in Bensalem.
Pennsylvania State Police say a Buick LeSabre flipped over after making a lane change.
It swiped another car in the process.
Four people in the Buick were injured.
A 60-year-old woman was killed, who authorities say was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the second car was not hurt.
I-95 North was shut down near Academy Road for accident reconstruction around noon but reopened just after 1 p.m.
I-95 southbound at Woodhaven Road was closed at about 1:20 p.m., but later reopened after a few hours.
