16 Students Injured In Salem County School Bus Crash
UPPER PITTSGROVE, NJ (CBS) – 16 students and an adult were injured in a crash involving a school bus and pick-up truck in Salem County Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday in Upper Pittsgrove at Woodstown Daretown Road & Slabtown Road.
New Jersey State Police say 16 students from Upper Pittsgrove School suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The driver of the pick-up truck was flown via medical chopper to an area trauma center.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
