9 Injured, Including 2 Critically, During West Philadelphia Police Chase
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say seven people are injured after a driver tried to avoid getting stopped in West Philadelphia Monday night.
The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. at 53rd and Spruce Streets.
Philadelphia police say a driver trying to avoid getting stopped and hit a cab, which struck two other vehicles.
Police say the suspect's car went on to hit four other parked cars and a tree.
Seven people suffered minor injuries.
The suspect and a passenger in the fleeing car are hospitalized in critical condition.
