Brawl Outside Philly's Four Seasons Hotel: Rock World's Old vs. Young?
By Pat Loeb
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A celebrity bottleneck in Philadelphia over the weekend led to a brawl in the driveway of the posh Four Seasons Hotel, between the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and security for the Rolling Stones.
Maybe it was the almost-full moon on Friday afternoon. It was certainly a weird confluence to have Anthony Kiedis of the monster pop group Red Hot Chili Peppers returning to the Four Seasons Hotel just as fellow guests The Rolling Stones were about to leave.
A video on the web site TMZ.com shows Kiedis sadly outmatched in terms of star power. An apparent security guard, not identified, stops Kiedis and puts him in a choke hold, even as paparazzi are calling out his identity.
Two Philadelphia highway patrol officers step in and stop the tussle.
No harm done, Kiedis continues on his way. The hotel's spokeswoman says the the security guard was not employed by the hotel.
