Body Pulled From Delaware River In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Delaware River in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police say the body of an unidentified male was pulled from the river around 8 a.m. Saturday in front of the Quaker City Yacht Club near Princeton Avenue and I-95.
The body was taken to the medical examiner's office for identification.
Authorities could not confirm if the body was that of a 15-year-old boy who disappeared Tuesday while swimming with friends in the Pennypack Creek (Read related story).
