Body Of Missing Bucks County Teacher Found In Schuylkill River
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Family members have confirmed a body pulled from the Schuylkill River Sunday afternoon is that of missing Bucks County teacher Christopher Tully.
Searchers found the body around 1:15 p.m. near the Kelly Drive. The body was discovered as it was caught in the treeline at the river's edge, and the body was identified as Tully's by family members later in the day.
The 40-year-old South Philadelphia father was last seen in the early morning hours on January 6th.
Since his disappearance, Philadelphia police, supplemented with K-9 crews, have been searching for Tully. He reportedly suffered from bipolar disorder.
Tully was a teacher at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology for the past 12 years.
The cause of death of the body pulled Sunday remains under investigation.
