Blue Angels Ready To Fly Over Army-Navy Game Saturday (Weather Permitting)

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's Army-Navy weekend and before Saturday's big game, weather permitting, Navy's Blue Angels will be flying over the Linc.
For Lieutenant Mark Tedrow, there's nothing better than this.
"Kind of have to pinch yourself and realize, 'Wow, this is my job,'" Lt. Tedrow said.
And as part of the Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, The Blue Angels, his office is an F/A-18 Hornet.
"One of the most sophisticated fighter jets on the planet," he said.
And Tedrow and his fellow Blue Angels, a rare chance to fly over the Linc before the Army-Navy game, which could be dashed by snow.
"I think our weather minimum is the cloud layer at 1,500 feet. So, anything lower than that we won't be able to fly. And then the visibility I think is going to be the important part because they're calling for snow. So, we need three miles of visibility. If we don't have that, we can't go flying," Lt. Tedrow said.

A game time decision that means a lot to Tedrow. The sequester has grounded most of their air shows this year. And even though they got to fly over the Navy-Notre Dame game, this is one they really don't want to miss.
"As you can imagine. We have a few Navy grads so we're pretty fired up," he said.
