BLOG: Southwest Fall Airfare Sale
By Jim Donovan: Southwest has just kicked off a new fall airfare sale. One-way fares begin as low as $59 to select markets out of Philadelphia.
The $59 one-way fare is good for travel to Pittsburgh, Providence and Raleigh/Durham. I checked some other fares and found $89 one-way tickets to West Palm Beach, $94 fares to Chicago (Midway) and Ft. Lauderdale, and $97 one-way to Tampa.
These fares are available for purchase only at southwest.com through Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, 11:59 pm PST. The fares are good for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between Sept. 16, 2011, and Dec. 14, 2011 (blackout dates apply).
