Blog: Roadside Assistance Records Set For AAA in February
By Jim Donovan: AAA Mid-Atlantic says it saw February emergency roadside assistance calls for car battery issues jump double-digit percentages over February 2014.
AAA Mid-Atlantic battery-related calls jumped 33 percent territory-wide this February over the same month last year.
In the Philadelphia 5-county area, battery-related calls to AAA were up 28 percent this February over February 2014.
AAA Mid-Atlantic also set a single-day call volume record on Monday, February 16, rescuing over 12,000 motorists territory-wide, 5,706 (47 percent) were battery-related calls, also a single-day record.
On the same day in February, AAA Mid-Atlantic responded to 3,064 total emergency roadside assistance calls in the Philadelphia 5-county area, also a single-day record, 1,631 (53 percent) of which were battery-related.
