BLOG: Playoffs Looming, Anyone Panicking?

10 days out from the Stanley Cup playoffs and a lot of people are panicking.
I'm cautiously optimistic the playoffs will transform the Flyers into the "Flyers" again. By keeping Pronger, Briere and Betts out, it seems like the team is being really cautious with injuries.
One of the reasons I am so optimistic is because of the great play of Claude Giroux.
I just had lunch with him as part of a new series we are doing here at CBS 3 called "Lunch with Lesley" (that you can see starting next week on CBS 3). On the series I take various athletes out to lunch to get to know them off the ice... or field...or court.
I cannot says enough nice things about this guy. There is no question he is focused! Let's hope it's contagious.
