BLOG: My Problem With Fantasy Football
By Lesley Van Arsdall
For many people fantasy football is a great way to bond ... or rather compete and talk trash with friends, family, co -workers, and in some cases, football fans from all over the country. One of the reasons in the past I have opted out is because i never wanted to root against my favorite team in favor of my fantasy team.
To win fantasy football you draft the best players... and of course they all aren't going to come from the same team.
In fact it seems fantasy football has become more popular than the games, with fantasy fans more focused on particular players and stats rather than what is actually going on in the game.
It just seems to ruin people's loyalty to their team.
Personally, I am not going to root against the Eagles to win a few hundred dollars
