Big Day for Gamblers in Southeastern Pa.

Black jack, poker, roulette, and craps to are now closer for area gamblers as three casinos open new table gaming sections.

KYW's Mike Dougherty reports it was a lucky start on the craps table for Howard Taylor from Penn Valley, Pa.:

"I'm a little worried about myself because I come for the race track a lot, so now it's a little too close, but we'll see. I like to gamble and I don't get to do it that much. I'm hoping that I can control myself; I think I can."

Craps, roulette, black jack, poker and more are available at the more than 70 tables. Robert Guidice is VP of table games for Harrah's:

"Tons of people turned out to make history with us in Pennsylvania. Dealers, floor supervisors, all very excited to be a part of this."

Parx in Bensalem and Sands in Bethlehem have also opened table game sections.

KYW's Pat Loeb reports that there was a big grand opening extravaganza at Parx, Mr. Big that is.

Actor Chris North plays leading man Mr. Big in "Sex and the City" and he threw out the ceremonial "first dice" at a Parx craps table.

Parx spokesperson Carrie Nork-Minelli says the casino wanted to borrow the character's sophistication to promote its new games:

"He's a man about town, women love him, men love so we thought he'd be perfect."

Noth threw double fives his first roll. In craps that's called a "hard ten." Fan Michelle Redmond found it more like a perfect ten:

"He's perfect, very, very perfect."

(Loeb:) "Does it make you want to start gambling?"

"If I can win him."

Despite his good first roll, Noth lost his chips pretty quickly:

"I crapped out way too soon. I gotta come back when it cools down a little."

Odds are, if he comes back, it's not going to cool down.
