Bethlehem High School Marching Band Chosen For 2014 Rose Parade
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A local high school was selected as one of 20 marching bands that will participate in the 125th annual Rose Parade on January 1st, 2014 in Pasadena, California.
The Liberty High School Grenadier Band was one of 18 bands that were announced on Wednesday by the Pasedena Tournament of Roses Association. The two remaining bands will be from the two schools participating in the Rose Bowl game.
In addition to the Rose Parade, the bands will take part in one of three Bandfest events scheduled for December 29th and 30th at Pasedena City College.
Bands are required to raise all necessary funds for travel and accommodations.
