Depending on whom you ask, King of Prussia is or isn't the largest mall in America: there are camps that say pure real estate (i.e. the Mall of America) trumps retail space, but no matter. Whichever way you slice it, KOP (as the locals call it) is a shopper's paradise. The roster of stores reads like a designer's A-list: Hermes, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman -- the list goes on. Its department stores, too, are of renown: Neiman Marcus (complete with valet parking) joins Bloomingdale's on the high-end, along with Lord & Taylor, Macy's, and JCPenney. Add in top-notch restaurants such as Morton's and Legal Sea Foods, and there's really no reason to leave this destination until they lock up for the night.

You can ride a carousel at this Montgomery County mall -- but don't think there's anything but serious shopping here. Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Sears are the big draws, but equally enticing are stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, Williams-Sonoma, and Victoria's Secret. There's also a two-level H&M -- and a Cheesecake Factory to satisfy your sweet-and-savory tooth.

South Jersey's answer to the King of Prussia Mall features an upscale mix of stores. Macy's and Nordstrom bookend BCBG Max Azria, Apple, and Urban Outfitters. Maggiano's, Seasons 52 Grill and Wine Bar, and Bahama Breeze are among the restaurants there to satisfy the food cravings you'll work up while shopping in this recently-renovated megaspace.

This promenade-style shopping center in Ardmore forces you out-of-doors to go store-to-store, but wide terraces and elegant landscaping serve to keep away the hustle and bustle of nearby Lancaster and Montgomery Avenues. Macy's anchors Suburban Square, which also boasts Apple, Coach, Talbots, Trader Joe's and the Ardmore Farmer's Market -- among several dozen other shops and eateries.
