Bernie Delegates Contemplate Convention Disruption

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A large chunk of Bernie Sanders delegates may have inside seats at the DNC on a sweltering day, but they feel left out in the cold.
The independent Bernie Delegates Network, which counts 1250 delegates, two-thirds of all Sanders delegates, is contemplating a possible floor fight over Senator Tim Kaine's nomination for Vice President and a possible disruption, even a walkout, during or after the nomination vote for Secretary Clinton.
"As beloved as Bernie is, his brilliance includes the fact that he is not running the social movements," said Norman Soloman, the national coordinator of the Bernie Delegates Network
"I don't consider booing and chanting to be harmful. It's just a part of democracy," said Karen Bernal, a Sanders delegate from California.
The group is polling members on how it should take direct action on the floor of the convention hall at the Wells Fargo Center.
The Vermont senator met with all 1900 of his delegates inside the ballroom of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
We are told during his afternoon meeting, he encouraged them to vote for Clinton, rather than face the prospect of a Donald Trump presidency.
They cheered his progressive views, but many of them booed when he told them to vote for Clinton.
