Benefits Of A Preventative Lifestyle

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Alzheimer's disease continues to frustrate physicians and to a far larger extent family members and those who love those afflicted with the condition.
Certainly there have been some tremendous developments thanks to research but there is still no way to halt the progression of this condition and there is no doubt that there are several interrelated forms of dementia and a number of causes.
From a lifestyle standpoint there is now little doubt that exercise, a well-balanced diet and stress reduction can play a protective role and we should all make these changes. There is also growing attention being paid to vascular disease and controlling blood pressure and coronary artery disease.
