Beachgoers Talk About The Latest Trends At The Jersey Shore
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Pop culture seems to be influencing some of the trends down the shore. Beachgoers say MTV's fingerprints are everywhere.
"The Jersey t-shirts, like I love Jersey Shore."
Kuznits: "How much of an influence has "Jersey Shore" had on the Jersey shore?"
"Way too much! Like the GTL shirts -- gym, tan, laundry."
But the boardwalk isn't all about Snookie and The Situation, there are also new trends in terms of things to do.
"Some of the hotels have pool parties and the DJ!"
Sea Isle City public information officer Katherine Custer says there's something new this year.
"The big new thing in Sea Isle City is our entertainment complex, which is a potion of our promenade which now has a new beach pavilion that's out over the sand."
Some people say when it comes to the shore there's one trend that never goes out of style.
"Boardwalk, beach, have fun."
