Bartram's Garden Plant Sale
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Bartram's Garden Plant sale is a three-day event - which means you can even go there for Mother's Day.
Like most plant sales, becoming a Bartram's member gets you better prices on plants and extra perks -- like admission to the member's preview on Friday, May 6th from 3 to 7 pm which includes a wine and cheese reception - and you can join at the door.
Everyone is welcome as the sale continues on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th when you can celebrate Mother's Day at Bartram's Garden. Bring your mom along and buy her a pretty plant, or get her a Bartram's membership as a gift she can enjoy all year.
And if your mom likes boat trips, you can even take her on a cruise down the Schuylkill on Sunday to get to Bartram's - America's oldest botanical garden.
