Baltimore Ave. Holding Street Fair Where $1 Price Tags Abound
By Justin Udo
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- From 5:30 to 8:30 tonight, vendors in University City are bringing their products to the street for the third "Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll."
Lori Brennan, director of marketing and communications for the University City District, says more than 30 vendors will line Baltimore Avenue between 43rd to 51st Streets with an array of products, all for just a dollar each.
"There's a mix of on-the-spot things you can get, like food and drink and retail products, to other things that you can redeem at a later date," she says.
And Brennan says the event will offer a little something for everyone:
"We have street performers, fire artists, a bagpiper, live music, and several food trucks."
The three-hour event is expected to bring out a few thousand folks from all over the area.
