Bucks County Man Accused Of Trading Tattoos For Sex With Underage Girl
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - Bucks County authorities say a 34-year-old Morrisville man with an extensive criminal history is under arrest for allegedly sexually molesting a teenage girl over the last year.
Authorities say they've taken an alleged child predator off the streets of Bucks County with the arrest of Walter Meyerle, a man who is accused of trading tattoos for sex with an underage victim.
Investigators say Myerle had repeated sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl at his home and other locations over the last year.
Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler says they don't usually publicize child sex cases, but in this case they want to get the word out about Meyerle.
"We have reason to believe that Mr. Meyerle may have many more victims in the lower Bucks area or even well beyond that," Heckler says, adding that Meyerle met the girl through his relationship with her aunt.
Heckler says it was the aunt and the girl's mother who went to police after noticing the girl had a tattoo in her pelvic area. He says Meyerle is believed to have a tattoo studio in his home and told the girl during the course of their year-long relationship that he would give her the tattoo in exchange for various sex acts.
Meyerle's bail has been set at $1 million.
Authorities want anyone who believes their kids may have had contact with Meyerle to call Bristol Township or Bensalem police.
