Baby Boomers Getting Attention From Healthcare Providers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - All of the coverage of the JFK assassination made me think about all of the baby boomers who remember the event...and believe me, there are lots of baby boomers around or the networks would not have spent so much time on it.
But, when it comes to healthcare, baby boomers are also getting a great deal of attention. Issues such as menopause, perimenopause, coronary artery disease and issues related to the sandwich generation - parents of boomers and kids of boomers and all of the associated stresses just to name a few, are some of the challenges that medical providers are dealing with.
The good news for boomers is that much like television coverage has focused on your needs and interest, the healthcare system is poised to do the same. Yes, there is strength in numbers.
