Autopsy Revels Cause Of Death For Elderly Woman Found Dead In Paulsboro Home
PAULSBORO, N.J. (CBS) – An autopsy of the body of an elderly woman found murdered in her Paulsboro home has determined the cause of death to be multiple injuries, including blunt force trauma.
According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office, 79-year-old Thriza Sweeten was found dead in her home at about 6 p.m. Monday when her daughter went to check on her. Authorities say Mrs. Sweeten's body had visible injuries. (see related story)
Investigators have interviewed nearly 20 people and continue to look for individuals who may have knowledge of the incident. On Tuesday, police announced that had a 'person of interest' in mind, but have not released the name.
So far, no arrests have been made.
