Authorities: 2 Bodies Found At NJ Park
NORTH BERGEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say it appears that two men separately committed suicide at a county park in northern New Jersey, but it's still not known if the deaths are related.
Both bodies were found Wednesday at Hudson County Park in North Bergen, but the names of the victims have not been released pending notification of relatives.
The first body was found around 10:15 a.m., when a jogger discovered a man's body in a lake. It's not yet known how long the body may have been in the water or what caused the man's death.
A few hours later, county sheriff's deputies who were investigating the first death discovered the body of the second man, who apparently hanged himself near the park's tennis courts.
