Atlantic City Residents Urged To Boil Water Before Using
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (CBS) – Atlantic City health officials are urging residents not to use the water.
The Atlantic County Office of Emergency Preparedness made the announcement around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the release, extensive flooding at the AC MUA treatment plant has impacted the water clear well.
Customers of Atlantic City MUA within Atlantic City are instructed to bring tap water to a rolling boil for one minute and allow the tap water to cool before using. Residents should continue to boil their water or use bottled water until further notice.
