At The Linc, They're Ready For Snow, THEN Football

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Snow is on the way, but the crew at Lincoln Financial Field is making sure there is no slipping or sliding for fans (or players) at Saturday night's Eagles playoff game.
At the Linc, the tarp is already covering the playing surface.
"We painted the field the last two days, so the field's painted," says Tony Leonard, the Eagles' director of grounds. "It's ready to go. And we put the tarp on it this morning."
Leonard says they'll decide in the morning whether to uncover the field.
"It'll be at that point that we make a decision, based on the winds, whether or not we pull the tarp tomorrow morning or we wait until Saturday morning," he tells KYW Newsradio.
Leonard says the field has an underground heating element, so the field should not freeze despite the frigid air.
In the stands, 400 workers are reporting on Friday to clear snow from the seating bowl and spread ice melt through the ramps and concourses.
