PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police have made an arrest in connection with a Sunday assault on a clerk at a beer store in South Philadelphia (see previous story).
It happened at Beer Heaven, in the 1100 block of South Columbus Boulevard.
Authorities say the clerk had been threatened over a disagreement about an earlier purchase and was then allegedly kicked by the suspect, who is seen in surveillance video pointing a gun at the clerk.
Police made the arrest Wednesday after the suspect, Frederick Robinson, 33, turned himself in to South Detectives.
"You allow your anger to get the best of you in a moment like this, it could be something that could change several lives," Philadelphia police Lt. John Stanford said.
Lt. Stanford says fortunately the clerk was not injured.
