Armed Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Delaware Dollar Store
CLAYMONT, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a dollar store Monday evening.
The incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. at the Family Dollar Store on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont, Delaware.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the store and approached a female clerk at the sales counter. The suspect displayed a gun and demanded money. The employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 30-35 years old, 6'1"-6'3" tall, 200-220 lbs and an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
No employees were injured during the incident.
