Armed Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Del. McDonald's
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a fast food restaurant late Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. at the McDonald's located at 815 South College Avenue in Newark.
According to police, the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a black long barrel revolver and demanded cash from the cashier.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect then fled the restaurant, entered a vehicle and was last seen turning right out of the parking lot onto northbound South College Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'8"-5'10", 30 to early 40's, with an average build and mustache. He was wearing black sneakers, black jeans, a blue shirt under a black leather jacket, a knit hat, sunglasses and a cloth around his mouth.
The vehicle is described as an older model dark colored four door sedan, possibly with custom rims and window tint. The rear passenger window may have something on it such as a rain deflector or plastic bag.
