Armed Robbery At New Jersey Gas Station Sends 1 To Hospital
WILLINGBORO, N. J. (CBS) – Willingboro police responded to an armed robbery at a gas station early Sunday morning.
Police report that at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday morning, witnesses reported an armed robbery at the Lukoil gas station located on Route 130 and Charleston Road.
According to authorities, two suspects approached the gas attendant from behind and then one suspect pointed a handgun at the victim, demanding money.
Allegedly, the suspects shot the gas attendant in the leg after they were given an undisclosed amount of cash. They then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was transported to Cooper Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has been released.
The first suspect is described as a 6-foot, black male with a thin build wearing dark clothing with red writing on the shirt.
The second suspect is described as a 5'5", black male with a thin build wearing dark clothing.
