Armed Bandit Robs Delaware Boston Market
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a fast food restaurant.
The robbery happened shortly before 10 p.m. Monday evening at the Boston Market located on S. College Avenue in Newark.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a black long barrel revolver and demanded cash from the cashier.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect then fled the restaurant, entered a vehicle and was last seen turning right out of the parking lot onto southbound South College Avenue towards I-95.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing, sunglasses, a knit hat, white gloves and a cloth around his mouth. He was carrying a green duffle bag with white straps. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored four-door sedan.
