BROOMALL, Pa. (CBS)--Parishioners celebrated sunrise Christmas mass at Saint Pius X Church in Broomall Wednesday morning.
The parish had a 7:30 a.m. service, which will be followed by 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. masses.
Catholics headed inside told Eyewitness News what this holy day means to them.
"It means a lot, I'm very blessed to have seven kids and seven grandkids, so it's a wonderful day for me," said parishioner Michael Elia.
"Being together with your family, family and friends and giving," said parishioner Donna DeRosa.
Her husband, John DeRosa agreed, "It's sunny out and it's a good day to start off going to church."
