Apple Gears Up For Worldwide Developers Conference
By Ian Bush
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Worldwide Developers Conference might not sound intriguing, but it's the event Apple fans look forward to.
At the event the company will reveal what it has up its sleeve for the near future.
Apple has unveiled surprises before, but we don't expect to see the rumored iTV or an iWatch at this event.
What's more likely is iRadio.
iRadio is a new streaming music service that will look to woo Pandora customers, or keep people from straying to Google, with its All Access program.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, there are reports that a new look will be coming to the interface that you touch and swipe every day.
iOS 7 is expected to be designed 'flat' rather than textured, like the icons and native app backgrounds you're used to.
We could see some thinner and lighter MacBooks with better battery life, and perhaps an operating system upgrade for laptops and desktops that brings the Siri personal assistant from mobile to the Mac.
