Apartment Fire In Logan Displaces 10 Residents

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Nearly a dozen residents have been displaced after an apartment fire in Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
The fire was first reported at about 5:30 a.m. inside a home in the 5100 block of Camac Street in the city's Logan section.
According to investigators, the fire apparently started in a bottom apartment unit and the entire building was evacuated.
The one-alarm fire was placed under control at about 6 a.m.
One resident was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Approximately 10 residents have been displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross was at the scene assisting those who were impacted.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
