Another Life Sentence Imposed In 2011 Murder of Bucks Musician

LEVITTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The Trenton, NJ man who fired the shotgun blast that killed a popular Bucks County musician in his Levittown, Pa. home nearly two years ago (see related story) will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Breon Powell offered nothing in the courtroom when the judge officially imposed the sentence that was decided by a jury that had found the 22-year-old man guilty of first-degree murder (another related story).
Bucks County prosecutor Matt Weintraub says he will always wonder why Danny DeGennaro was targeted for this crime.
"And we will never know what actually occurred in that house in those fateful two minutes that are unaccounted for to this day," he said.
The mastermind of the botched robbery attempt was also convicted in the case and will serve a life sentence (see related story).
A third man, convicted with Powell, will be sentenced next week.
Two teenage women who cooperated with police and told juries they were recruited for the planned robbery (see related story) are scheduled for sentencing later this week.
