Another Day of Practice for Eagles
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - More workouts for the Eagles as they ready for Monday night's battle with the Bears at the Linc.
Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg says they will have their hands full this week, preparing for a very aggressive Chicago defense.
"The Bears pride themselves in giving up a low amount of points. They are doing that They are better than the numbers show. They had a couple of games early that didn't go real well for them, that's why the numbers are skewed just a little bit. They are still pretty good as far as the points go."
Now whenever the Eagles kickoff or punt on Monday night, they will have to find a way to keep Bears return man Devin Hester from going coast to coast. That's the main focus of Eagles special teams coordinator Bobby April.
"He's better than good, I guess the greatest returner of all-time. His records certainly show that - in only six years."
Hester has returned both a punt and kickoff for a touchdown this season for Chicago.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, sidelined by the stomach flu on Thursday, was back at practice today.
