Annual Golf Show Drops Into Convention Center In Oaks
By Paul Kurtz
OAKS, Pa. (CBS) -- It's all things golf this weekend at the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center, in Oaks.
The annual Philadelphia Golf Show is back, with its usual assortment of vendors.
"We're selling a bunch of recycled balls, tees, different clubs, spikes, bags."
But there's also the unconventional:
"It's a solid hardwood putter, and the different kinds of wood are exotic. Sometimes cocoa bolo, sometimes curly maple, or bobinga."
There was something called the Bat Caddy (right). What is it?
"It's very similar to a three-wheeled pushcart. It's totally remote-controlled. Battery operated."
There's even a company that's selling a scaled-down, in-home version of this ancient game.

"This is the miniature indoor golf game. You can play up and down steps, in your living room, your basement."
The golf show runs through Sunday.
