AnnaSophia Robb Talks Fashion, Beauty and Carrie Bradshaw
AnnaSophia Robb knew she had big shoes to fill when she landed the role of teenage Carrie Bradshaw in the "Sex and the City" prequel series "The Carrie Diaries." But Robb has proven she is more than ready to fill those Manolo Blahniks.
Of course, every fashionista has a few faux pas before they rock their first designer shoe. She says, "I wore these big, flowy pants with hamburger earrings. I was kind of exploring my fashion sensibilities and I didn't quite hit the mark. But I had fun."
She also shares some beauty tips she lives by, "Moisturizer, sunscreen and I love Jergens Natural Glow. I know that sounds really dorky, but I'm so pasty right now, it's saving me on-set."
When she is asked who is her favorite female on "Sex and the City" Robb confessed the character she relates to the most is, obviously, Carrie Bradshaw. She says "She's really a combination of all the girls, and the most relatable."
What is the most important thing she has learned from playing Carrie? She says, "Go after what your heart really wants."
"The Carrie Diaries" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. right here on the CW Philly!
