Andy Reid Totally Ignored As Nominee For Prestigious Robert Goulet Mustache Award

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The American Mustache Institute is a real thing that exists. The Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year is a real award that actually exists within that organization. The fifteen nominees for the award have been announced, and outrageously, Andy Reid is not one of them.

The award is not necessarily for the best mustache, but "recognizes the person who best-represents or contributes to the Mustached American community over the past year." I think Big Red surely fits into that category as well.

There are two football related nominees, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Kahn, as well as former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher. The rest of the nominees can be found on the AMI's website (visit the site).

We can only hope for two things, one, that Andy keeps that mustache growing, and two, he wins the Super Bowl this season. That way, there's no way Robert Goulet can ignore him next year.
