Andy Reid Follows Chip Kelly's Musical Lead
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – In the short time that Chip Kelly has been head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, it's been made clear that he does things a little differently. From the food the team eats, the speed of the practices, to the amount of sleep the players get, Kelly is running things his way in Philadelphia.
One of the stories out of the first week of Eagles OTAs, is that Kelly blasts loud music during practice, something Andy Reid didn't do during his time with the team. It seems like Reid may think Kelly is on to something.
At Kansas City Chiefs practice on Thursday, Reid's team practiced with to soundtrack of Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC.
"Just to living it up a little bit," Reid said. "I wanted to make sure you guys were out here dancing….We use a lot of crowd noise, I've always done that, so I figured we'd break out a little R&B and see what we can do with it."
No word on whether the Chiefs are supplied with health shakes after practice as well.
