Andy Reid Calls It An 'All-Time Great Game'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) -- Eagles' head coach Andy Reid referred to Sunday's 38-31 come-from-behind win over the Giants as one of the "all-time great games in NFL history" (see related story).
During his day-after press conference in South Philadelphia, Reid praised the determination and poise of both his players and his coaches, and says this group just seems to have "it."
"That heart, that big heart, that part is tough to coach," Reid told reporters. "You kind of have that or you don't have that. This group seems to have that, and they showed us that last night."
There was some not-so-good news on the injury front. Once again the Eagles have lost a starter on defense -- rookie free safety Nate Allen suffered a ruptured patella tendon. He will probably undergo surgery tomorrow, and he is out for the rest of the season.

Reid also said that wide receiver Jason Avant, who made a key block on the Desean Jackson punt return that sprung him for the touchdown, has a slight concussion. But Reid says he was pretty good on the way home and will undergo all the concussion testing this week.
Middle linebacker Stewart Bradley has been out with a dislocated elbow and may not return until the playoffs.
Allen was hurt in the Eagles' 38-31 win over the New York Giants. His knee appeared to buckle while he tackled Mario Manningham.
He'll join rookie defensive end Brandon Graham and cornerback Ellis Hobbs on injured reserve. Rookie Kurt Coleman, a seventh-round pick, takes Allen's starting spot.
