Andrew Bynum Says He'll Play Friday In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- This isn't really how it was supposed to happen, but Andrew Bynum says he'll play Friday night against the Sixers at the Wells Fargo Center.
Bynum, now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been moving slowly in his return to basketball action, as Sixers fans well know. He's played a total of 37 minutes in three games for the Cavs this year, and has not played in games on back to back nights.
The Sixers traded for Bynum prior to last season in a blockbuster deal that saw the Sixers trade a first round pick, Andre Iguodala, Nic Vucevic and Moe Harkless. Bynum didn't play in a game, and only briefly practiced for the Sixers, citing problems in his knees that started as bone bruises, and eventually suggested arthritis. The problems were intensified when Bynum hurt a previously uninjured knee bowling.
Bynum has no regrets about what happened in Philadelphia, calling Friday "just another game."
"I think they'll probably boo, but that's their choice," he said to Ohio.com. "It wasn't my choice to get rid of me. I don't feel bad at all [about what happened]. ... If I was not hurt, I would've played. That's really the end to that story."
