Andrew Bynum Didn't Practice Due To Knee Discomfort, No Timetable Given For Return
By Spike Eskin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – October 24th was the target date that the Sixers hoped Andrew Bynum would be back at practice. Consider the target moved.
Bynum did not practice with the team today due to knee discomfort, and is not running yet. After practice, Sixers general manager Tony DiLeo said Bynum will not practice until the discomfort ceases. DiLeo suggested that Bynum would likely be able to play if it were a more critical time in the team's schedule.
Bynum will not participate in any basketball activity until further notice. There was no timetable given for Bynum's return. DiLeo stressed that the team is being cautious with Bynum.

The Sixers open the season on October 31st against the Nuggets. It would seem unlikely that Bynum will be ready to play, though did say that was still possible, according to Tom Moore of Philly Burbs.
