Analysis: Sestak-Toomey In Final Rounds
(CBS) - Two weeks before election day 2010, Democrat Joe Sestak and Republican Pat Toomey are like two battle hardened heavyweight fighters headed into the final rounds. They're exchanging verbal blows with no time to rest.
Sestak's campaign is trying to paint Toomey as an extremist conservative who only cares about rich people. Toomey's campaign is trying to portray Sestak as an extremist liberal, a free spender who will cause federal checks to bounce in the future. Somewhere in the middle is the truth about both men but do not expect to get that from the gurus of campaign strategy.
In another hot race, Republican Pat Meehan and Democrat Bryan Lentz have agreed on something; a fifth and final debate next Monday night at Neumann University.
