Analysis: Diplomatic Pressure, Military Readiness At Forefront In U.S.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On two foreign fronts, diplomatic pressure and military readiness are at the forefront here in America.
The Iran and Syrian crises are linked with Iran trying to bolster the regime in Syria. In the meantime the U.S. and Isreal are watching who has control of the weapons in Syria.
"There is a strategic danger of a spill over of weapons, conventional weapons, unconventional weapons to terrorist organizations such as 'Hezbollah' and that is a great concern that we need to monitor, and we need to react to it and Israel and the United States do it very closely," says Elad Strohmater, deputy consul general for Israel.
